Masters At Work are a formidable force in their own right, but when teamed up with the UK's premier soulful house club night  "Soul Heaven" (who have been running their flagship event at the legendary Ministry of Sound since 2001) the result is a mouth-watering proposition.

 

This three-disc collection showcases the best new house music from the cream of the world's labels, including Kerri Chandler ‘Bar A Thym’, Erick Morillo ‘Waiting In The Darkness’, Mood 2 Swing ‘Musical Life’, Quentin Harris ‘Let's Be Young’, Joe Claussell ‘Mafungo’, The Rebirth ‘Say Yeah’, and Jamiroquai ‘Space Cowboy’.

 

The album features a bonus ten-track unmixed disc featuring influences and inspirations from artists that have helped forge the MAW sound throughout their long reigning career.

 

The appropriately titled Masters At Work team of Little Louie Vega and Kenny Dope Gonzalez is the most successful production partnership in dance music. Their unique combination of hip-house-jazz styles has marked them out as true originals. MAW are the originators of the funky house sound, a sound often imitated but never bettered than when in the hands of the Masters.
